Recently we carried out a measured building survey at Plas Y Llan
residential home for Ainsley Gommon Architects.
The three storey building is used as a residential home for the elderly with
a total floor area of 2000 square metres. The first and second floor
consisted mainly of ensuite bedrooms, whereas the ground floor
contained general living areas, toilets, kitchen facilities, storage and a
boiler room.
The client required floor plans for each floor showing, window openings
(with sill heights), internal walls, doorways, stairs, toilets, showers, baths,
radiators, electrical fittings, light fittings and ceiling heights etc.
Together with the floor plans, we also provided the client with sectional
drawings at various locations through the building as well as elevation
drawings for each aspect of the building.
